- My 3000 is ethernetted, but the printer and everything else in the
- department runs on NOvell. My printer hack goes like this:
-
- Have a script that calls itlself recursively which does the following:
- runs CMD on the parallel port.
- runs waitnotify on CMD's redirect file (basically just waits
- for CMD redirectino to finish)
- ncftp's to the PC next to me. the ncftp .ini file is set to put
- the CMD redirected file on the PC and logout
- call the script again.
-
- The only thing I have to do (which I'm trying to work around, but can't
- figure out how) is make sure the pc is running it's wuftpd initially, and
- then everytime i print something on my amiga (mainly TeX output) I have
- to lauch a dos script (a button in windows) which copies the file to the
- lpt1: device.
-
- If only PC's had a waitnotify...
